Almost all Luxembourgish firms have taken actions to reduce emissions, EIB Group Investment Survey shows

Almost all firms in Luxembourg have taken actions to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, such as waste minimisation and investment in energy efficiency, according to the European Investment Bank (EIB) Group Investment Survey country results released today. The survey for Luxembourg also shows that companies in the country are satisfied with their overall level of investment over the last three years, though a significant minority reports investment gaps.

82% of respondents in Luxembourg recognise that spending on climate change adaptation now will avoid greater costs later, EIB survey finds

Respondents in Luxembourg ranked climate change second only to the rising cost of living among the challenges facing their country. More than four in five of them agree that investing in climate adaptation now is necessary to avoid higher costs in the long run, according to the annual Climate Survey commissioned by the European Investment Bank (EIB).

G7 financial institutions team up for sustainable food systems

G7 Public Development Banks (PDBs) and Development Financial Institutions (DFIs) are joining forces to enhance food security and sustainable agriculture in emerging markets. Through a new coordination mechanism set up by Italy’s Cassa Depositi e Prestiti (CDP), the Group of Seven PDBs and DFIs are teaming up in the “Collaborative on Sustainable Food Systems”.
