The European Investment Bank (EIB) granted PLN 2.25 billion to Poland’s top utility PGE Polska Grupa Energetyczna (PGE) to support renewable energy production. The favourable loan will allow PGE to develop its network of photovoltaic installations throughout the country and to modernise an existing pumped-storage power plant.

The European Investment Bank (EIB) signed a new loan agreement worth €450 million with Polish railway infrastructure manager PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe S.A. (PLK SA) to support extensive modernisation of 120 kilometres of a key regional rail line in southern Poland. The investment will contribute to achieving cohesion and climate policy goals of the European Union.

Die Europäische Investitionsbank (EIB) hat einen Kredit über 1,7 Milliarden Zloty (405 Millionen Euro) für den Stromversorger Energa Operator unterzeichnet. Das ist die dritte und letzte Tranche eines 3,5-Milliarden-Zloty-Darlehens an Orlen für die Modernisierung und den Ausbau des Stromverteilnetzes in Nord- und Zentralpolen.
