This contract will include:
In the treatment plant: improving and updating storage and dosing of the raw water coagulation product;
correcting the transition channel between rapid mixing and the flocculator; inspecting and replacing degraded flocculator paddles and coupling and mounting parts;
inspecting and replacing degraded sedimentation tank sludge pipes and coupling and mounting parts;
replacing sedimentation tank cleaning pipes;
replacing gates and valves in all structures and parts of the treatment plant;
installing an air blower with pipes and accessories to help expand filter beds when cleaning filters;
replacing “California” type underdrains with another Leopold type; building the distribution box for the pipeline to Atahualpa, also connecting to the pipe for water from the watershed of the left bank of the Alajua river;
modifying the existing pipeline for the three watersheds.
The main works on the conveyance and pumping pipeline are:
unclassified machine excavation of trenches, provision and installation of PED=450 mm pipe with various pressures, supply and installation of air valves, drainage valves, pressure sustaining valves, gate valves and butterfly valves, supply and installation of pumping equipment, and compacted trench fill.
