LAGOS NIGERIA WATERWAYS SUSTAINABLE TRANSPORT (OMI ÈKÓ) is a 410 M EUR project co-financed by AFD and the EU, and implemented by the Lagos State Waterways Authority (LASWA). The EIB also intends to provide proceeds to this project. The project aims to develop mass public inland waterways transportation (IWT) on the Lagos Lagoon. LASWA intends to select a consultant to provide detailed engineering design, procurement and construction supervision services, for the selected ferry terminals and navigation channels.
