The role banks play in sustaining the economy and supporting growth in Europe will be the focus of the European Banking Federation’s annual conference. Discussions will explore the strategies required to achieve stability and growth in the light of regulatory change and the need for greater cooperation with stakeholders.
EIB Vice-President responsible for SMEs Dario Scannapieco will participate in a panel discussing “The challenge of financing business”. The conference will feature other high level speakers (see programme) including the CEOs of Société Générale, RBS and UBS, Herman Van Rompuy president of the European Council and European Commissioner Michel Barnier.
