An important consideration for the development and growth of Europe’s small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) is how to propose well-designed financing opportunities to support these companies throughout the entire duration of their business cycle. From seed and pre-seed stage and, increasingly, through to the growth and scale-up stages, solutions need to be offered whereby ideas are not only born in Europe, but raised and mature there too.

In its first Berlin edition, the EIB’s Lunch Dialogues series, shall tackle the topic of growth financing and its importance for Europe’s SMEs and economies, as well as the role which private and public capital play.
Speakers from both the private and public spheres of investment will be discussing the opportunities and challenges Europe is facing as it moves into the future.
