The EIB is hosting a meeting organized by the Infrastructure Steering Group (ISG) which co-ordinates infrastructure investments in South Eastern Europe on behalf of the International Financial Institutions (European Commission, World Bank, EIB, EBRD and Council of Europe Development Bank). A key purpose of the meeting is to discuss with representatives of the beneficiary countries of the region the ongoing study, called REBIS-Transport, which focuses on regional projects and policies in the transport sector. The REBIS studies are being financed by the European Commission under the CARDS Programme, and are expected to facilitate the planning and implementation of projects of regional importance in 5 countries (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, FYR of Macedonia, and Yugoslavia).

Attendance at the meeting is restricted and by invitation only. Information on the results will be disseminated in the context of the REBIS Study.
