Description
The EIB Group adopted a new Transparency Policy on 6 March 2015. The new EIB Group Transparency Policy replaces the EIB Transparency Policy from 2010 which was revised following an extensive public consultation. The EIB GroupTransparency Policy fully takes into account the Treaty on the functioning of the European Union.
The EIB Group Transparency Policy sets out the EIB Group’s approach to transparency and stakeholder engagement. It defines the EIB procedures concerning information requests from the public, as well as the information that the EIB makes routinely available to the public.
Following the entry into force of Regulation (EU) 2018/1725 on 11 December 2018, and in line with Article 99 thereof, references in the EIB Group Transparency Policy to Regulation (EC) No 45/2001, to European Union data protection legislation, and any equivalent reference shall be construed as references to Regulation (EU) 2018/1725.
