Fairmat, société française spécialisée dans le recyclage des matériaux composites en fibres de carbone, a signé avec la Banque européenne d'investissement un contrat de prêt à risque d'un montant de 25 millions d'euros. Pionnier du recyclage des composites carbone, cette société née en 2020 a mis au point un procédé de recyclage mécanique quasi neutre en carbone qui permet d’économiser quatre fois plus de CO2 que pour un composite neuf.

The EIB Group – made up of the European Investment Bank (EIB) and the European Investment Fund (EIF) – has signed a new €93 million synthetic securitisation operation with BBVA for 100% green projects. This investment will allow BBVA to mobilise around €185 million to finance the construction of residential buildings with near-zero emissions by small and medium firms (SMEs) and mid-caps in Spain’s real estate sector.

At a ceremony held today at the European Investment Bank (EIB Global) headquarters in Luxemburg, EIB Vice-President Robert de Groot and Montenegro's Minister of Education, Science and Innovation Anđela Jakšić Stojanović have signed a grant agreement for €2 million. The funding is earmarked for the purchase of digital equipment for Montenegrin schools, to improve learning conditions and digital literacy among students and teachers.
