From July 6th to 14th, the EIB Group joined the 25th edition of the Luxembourg Pride week to celebrate the LGBTIQ community and the importance of diversity, equity and inclusion.
Around 200 EIB Group colleagues took part in the second edition of the Luxembourg Pride Run, a charity race bringing together companies, associations, friends, and families to show their support for the LGBTIQ community. Some of the profits generated were donated to LGBTIQ associations for their projects to defend equal rights, including Rosa Lëtzebuerg and the Cigale LGBTIQ+ Center.
Together with other EU institutions, the Group participated in the Equality March in Esch sur Alzette, with the aim to demand acceptance and legal equality for the LGBTIQ community. It was another occasion for non-LGBTIQ people and organisations to show their support and solidarity with the queer community and carry the concerns of LGBTIQ people into society at large.
