The road sector in Madagascar is strategic for the European Investment Bank (EIB), and it has proved to have a real impact on the country’s inclusive and sustainable development. That is why the Bank and the Delegation of the European Union have joined forces to step up their activities in the country and support its growth.
The EIB is very pleased to announce that in line with its internal procedures, the non-objection letters needed to continue supervising the work on the RN 13 road between the port of Taolagnaro (Fort Dauphin) and Ambovombe have been sent. The next disbursement of the funds is currently being prepared with Madagascar’s road authority.
