On the occasion of European Diversity Month and to mark the International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia (IDAHOT), the EIB Group, composed of the European Investment Bank and the European Investment Fund, is committed to stand up for the rights of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgendered, intersexual or queer people (LGBTIQ) and promote the inclusion of LGBTIQ people in our societies.
We pledge our commitment to:
- Foster the EIB Group’s role as an ambassador of LGBTIQ rights in our operations all around the world to ensure that LGBTIQ individuals can benefit equally from our projects
- Advance the discussion around LGBTIQ inclusion in the workplace, by further developing an organisation in which everyone feels they belong and confident to be their authentic self
- Promote a culture of allyship and support, to empower and actively engage everyone in creating greater equity and an environment in which people thrive
