Abraaj North Africa II, L.P. is a multi-sector private equity fund, sponsored by the Abraaj Group, which will provide growth capital to generalist small and medium sized companies based in Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia and Egypt. The Fund is the successor fund of SGAM Kantara (Fund I) a EUR 115m fund managed by the Abraaj Group, to which the Bank committed EUR 10m in 2006. The fund achieved final closing on 30 July 2015 with USD 375 million commitments.
