Description
The project consists of a dedicated loan to finance small and medium-sized investments through Italian cooperative banks belonging to the Iccrea cooperative banks' network. The EIB will invest up to EUR 250m into a senior tranche of a portfolio of granular exposures to support new lending and leasing schemes to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and mid-caps in Italy. At least 25% of EIB funds will be dedicated to the agriculture sector.
Objectifs
This project will improve competitiveness and access to finance at favourable conditions for SMEs and mid-caps in Italy.
