The project will contribute to the rationalization of waste management in Cantabria, reducing the landfill of waste and increasing the recycling of materials, as well as promoting the rational use of energy.

Umweltaspekte
The project complies with Directive 75/442/EEC ,as amended by 91/156/EEC, by promoting the recycling and processing of waste. It also falls under Annex II of Directive 97/11/EC, and in this particular case the competent authority has required a full environmental impact assessment.
