Umweltaspekte
Most of the infrastructure components of the project concern the rehabilitation of existing railway tracks on existing alignments and are not expected to generate any adverse impact on the environment. For some sections where a new alignment is foreseen, the Bank’s services will take care to ensure that proper attention is given to all environmental concerns and appropriate mitigation measures are implemented, in line with the Bank’s relevant guidelines.
Auftragsvergabe
Procurement procedures will be on the basis of international competitive bidding with tender publication in the Official Journal of the European Community, in line with the Bank’s guidelines.
