Il-Kumitat tal-Verifika huwa korp indipendenti li jwieġeb direttament lill-Bord tal-Gvernaturi u huwa responsabbli biex jivverifika li l-operazzjonijiet tal-Bank tmexxew u l-kotba tiegħu nżammu b’mod xieraq.
Meta jkunu qed jiġu approvati r-rendikonti finanzjarji mill-Bord tad-Diretturi, il-Kumitat tal-Verifika joħroġ ir-rendikonti tiegħu dwarhom. Ir-rapporti tal-Kumitat tal-Verifika dwar ir-riżultati tal-ħidma tiegħu fis-sena preċedenti jintbagħtu lill-Bord tal-Gvernaturi flimkien mar-rapport annwali tal-Bord tad-Diretturi.

Code of Conduct for the members of the Audit Committee of the EIB
The rules of conduct spelled out in this code are based on the principles enshrined in the Bank's Statute, its Rule of Procedure and subsequent texts governing Bank activity, as well as on other general pertinent principles, and have been inspired by the Codes of Conduct for the Managment Committee and for the staff of the Bank.
