Description
Objectives

The project concerns construction of three grade-separated junctions (Place Addis Abeba, Chevalley junction and Place du 1er Mai) and eight underpasses on Algiers’ main road network.

The project forms part of the programme to improve links between the RN11 coastal road and the southern Algiers ring road - the backbone of the city’s network of feeder roads.

The project will contribute to markedly improving traffic conditions in Greater Algiers, so reducing congestion and pollution caused by traffic jams.

International competitive bidding in accordance with the Bank’s rules.
