Description
Objectives

The project consists in the upgrading of the Air Traffic Services of Croatia during the period 2002-2004 and includes investment of a new Air Control Centre, new Air traffic Management facilities, and a new telecommunication network.

The project aims at improving air safety and has been given highest priority by the Croatian Government.

Environmental aspects
Procurement

The project is not expected to fall under Directive 97/11/EC and no negative impact is foreseen. In fact, improvements in the ATC system will further increase aviation safety and capacity.

EIB procedures for international procurement would be applied, where applicable.
