Global loan for the financing of small and medium sized projects carried out by public and private sector promoters contributing towards hereafter defined sectors.
ILB is the developing bank of the State of Brandenburg and acts in support of the development of the region. The State of Brandenburg represents an “objective 1 area” and the present global loan aims at correcting regional disparities. Providing funds at reduced costs, the facility aims at furthering investments oriented at promoting economic growth and combating unemployment; furthermore the measures in infrastructure and housing renewal are expected to have also a positive impact on the socio-economic environmental climate and on the quality of life in the selected areas.
Compliance with EU environmental directives and national laws shall be ensured.
For the award of public contracts the EU tender directives are to be followed.

Complaints mechanism
Any complaint regarding alleged maladministration can be lodged via the EIB Complaints Mechanism. The European Ombudsman acts as an independent external accountability mechanism of the EIB.
Zero tolerance against fraud and corruption
The EIB has a zero tolerance policy on fraud or corruption. To report allegations of fraud and corruption relating to EIB-financed projects, please contact the Fraud and Investigation division. All complaints will be treated as strictly confidential and handled in line with the EIB investigation procedures and the Anti-Fraud Policy.
