Objectives

Expansion of the Delta container terminal capacity.

Expand the capacity of the Port of Rotterdam to accommodate future growth in container traffic.

Environmental aspects
Procurement

No adverse environmental aspects expected. Due to the nature of works, the competent authority ruled that the project does not require an environmental impact assessment.

The Promoter has advertised the works contracts in the EU Official Journal in compliance with EU public procurement Directives and will continue to do so for future contracts.
