Summary sheet
The project comprises new product development and capacity expansion at Ford Otosan’s plants in Kocaeli and Inönü.
The project is intended to boost the production and sale of Ford Otosan’s commercial vehicles in Turkey and Europe, and will contribute to the development of the Turkish economy and the country's EU accession process.
It is anticipated that no EIA is required for this project, taking into account the fact that it entails a modest expansion of an existing facility. Ford Otosan’s environmental procedures will be verified during appraisal.
EU procurement legislation does not apply to the project. The Promoter’s procurement procedures will be discussed during appraisal.
