Description
Objectives

The line of credit will be used to finance private sector companies in Ghana, to support the development of investment projects that would not be eligible for direct financing by the EIB in the eligible sectors.

Enhancing the role of SMEs in the promotion of economic development, especially by means of investments necessary for exporting activities.

Environmental aspects
Procurement

The promoter will ensure that the projects to be financed comply with EIB’s environmental standards. The promoter’ appraisal processes include an environmental review to verify that the projects are in compliance with the relevant national environmental legislation.

The promoter ensure compliance with the Bank’s Guide to Procurement when supporting procurement by the final beneficiaries.
