Objectives

The project consists of a loan in United States Dollars to fund the microfinance activities of Microfund for Women ("MFW") which mainly supports female entrepreneurs, including Syrian refugees, in Jordan.

The facility will boost the access to finance for Jordanian micro and small enterprises (MSEs). MSEs are defined as businesses with fewer than 10 employees in both urban and rural areas, including self-employed individuals, sole proprietors and micro entrepreneur groups.
