Description
Financing of investment schemes in the environment sector (waste water/solid waste management), eligible for EU grant financing (ISPA)
Objectives
The loan proceeds will contribute to the rehabilitation, modernization and expansion of individual investment schemes and allow for an environmentally friendly treatment of solid waste and sewerage. All schemes will be implemented to achieve compliance with current EU levels so that the project assists Hungary in its EU accession efforts.

Environmental aspects
The Bank in close co-operation with ISPA will require the relevant local authorities to ensure compliance of the individual investment schemes with relevant national and EU Directives.
