Description
Loan for financing small and medium-sized projects carried out primarily by SMEs or Mid-Caps, mainly located in Portugal.

The loan is expected to be mainly used - for at least 70% - for the financing of small and medium-sized investment projects in eligible sectors carried out by SMEs and mid-cap enterprises (up to 3,000 employees), primarily in Portugal but also in other European countries. The proposed EIB loan would promote medium and long-term lending for capital investment, and would mainly contribute to strengthen the productivity and competitiveness of SMEs and mid-caps.
