Description
The 2021 Climate Bank Roadmap (CBR) progress report provides an update on the first year of implementation of the EIB Group’s 2020 CBR, which operationalised the EIB’s 2019 Climate Bank commitments. The report covers progress in 2021 across the four workstreams of the CBR, including delivery of the new EIB Climate Adaptation Plan and Group Paris Alignment of Counterparties (PATH) Framework and Environmental and Social Sustainability Framework. The report also outlines progress in development of the Bank’s approach to Just Transition, adjustment of the Group’s low-carbon alignment framework and transition towards the EU Taxonomy, as well as EIB monitoring of the shadow cost of carbon. Finally the report introduces a Results Framework and provides baseline data from the first year of results.
