Conference: "EIB Financing of Municipalities in Poland"

The EIB shall host a conference outlining the role of the EIB in providing funding to Polish Municipalities in small towns. The event, which shall be opened by Thomas Hackett, Deputy Director General, European Investment Bank, Elżbieta Suchocka-Roguska, Undersecretary of State, Ministry of Finance and Piotr Uszok, Mayor of Katowice, will take an in depth look at financing available to municipalities through EU grants and EIB loans, highlighting individual case studies in priority areas such as environmental projects and urban development.

A high attendance is expected at this event from government and political circles, as well as the business and banking sectors.
