Restructuring Global Finance: The Road Ahead

With more than 550 speakers and 10,000 visitors from 60 countries, the EURO FINANCE WEEK is the largest meeting point for the finance, insurance and real estate industry in Europe. In approximately 30 conferences with 150 panel discussions and expert rounds, the event provides a comprehensive overview of the topics that are currently moving the industry. In addition, numerous evening events, get-togethers and receptions held throughout the week offer plenty of networking opportunity.

The 12th EURO FINANCE WEEK took place from 16 to 20 November 2009 in Frankfurt, Germany. Traditionally, the week concentrates especially on the integration and regulation of European financial markets. This year’s thematic focus highlighted in particular the restructuring of the global financial architecture, the development of new, sustainable business models for financial institutions, as well as issues relating to Risk Management, Solvency II, Transaction Banking, Retail Banking, Fighting Money Laundering and Fraud, and Corporate Governance.
