Circular economy has the potential to reduce our impact on the climate and the environment, foster sustainable economic growth, boost competitiveness and generate new jobs. The EIB is a major partner for circular economy investments in the EU, and has provided EUR 2.1bn in co-financing for circular projects over the last five years. This brochure outlines the bank’s reasoning behind its investments and advisory in the circular economy, and provides examples of projects we have supported.
