The European Investment Bank (EIB) Group’s financing in Finland more than doubled to €2.3 billion in 2024, with the bulk of funds aimed at accelerating the green transition and business innovation in the country. The EIB Group’s pledges last year represent a 132% increase from €992 million in 2023.
La Banque européenne d'investissement (BEI) accorde un prêt de 100 millions d’euros pour le déploiement du complexe hospitalier de Laakso dans l’agglomération d’Helsinki, en Finlande. Among the challenges facing their country, Finnish respondents only ranked climate change sixth. Nevertheless, more than four in five Finnish respondents agree that investing in climate adaptation now is necessary to avoid higher costs in the long run, according to the annual Climate Survey commissioned by the European Investment Bank (EIB).
