As part of its ongoing dialogue with civil society, the European Investment Bank will hold its Autumn 2007 Workshop for CSOs in Lisbon on Friday 9th November 2007.

EIB-CSO Workshops bring together CSO delegates, specialised EIB staff, and Members of the Bank’s Management Committee and Board of Directors to discuss topics of common interest. Observers from other EU and international financing institutions can also participate. The Autumn 2007 Workshop in Lisbon will be chaired by EIB Vice-President Philippe de Fontaine Vive.

The Workshop’s working languages will be English and Portuguese (interpretation facilities  Portuguese-English will be available). EIB and CSOs together set the programme for the Workshop.

  3. C. Arnould, common experience of IFIs in development indicators for equity funds,
  4. Invited speakers: Mr. Uchita de Zoysa (Centre for Environment & Development - D&D Strategic Solutions Sri Lanka) & Dr Christopher Wright (visiting researcher at the Centre for Development and the Environment at the University of Oslo).
