Im Rahmen ihrer Besuche der europäischen Hauptstädte ist die Präsidentin der EIB-Gruppe Nadia Calviño heute in Athen eingetroffen. Dort sprach sie mit Griechenlands Ministerpräsident Kyriakos Mitsotakis und Finanzminister Kostis Hatzidakis über Europas strategische Prioritäten und Investitionen in Griechenland.

Most people in Cyprus recognise the need to adapt their lifestyle due to the effects of climate change, according to the annual Climate Survey commissioned by the European Investment Bank (EIB). Among the challenges facing their country, Cypriot respondents ranked climate change third, after the cost of living and large-scale migration. Many believe that investing in adaptation now prevent higher costs in the future.

Nearly nine in ten Greek respondents recognise the need to adapt their lifestyle due to the effects of climate change, according to the annual Climate Survey commissioned by the European Investment Bank (EIB). Among the challenges facing Greece, respondents ranked climate change second only to the cost of living. Many believe that investing in adaptation now will not only boost the economy, but will also prevent higher costs in the future.
