Almost all Finnish firms (99%) have taken action to reduce greenhouse-gas emissions, which is higher than the EU average (91%), according to the European Investment Bank (EIB) Group Investment Survey country results released today. The survey for Finland also shows that 49% of Finnish firms see the transition to stricter climate standards and regulations as an opportunity, compared to 27% on average in the EU.

Die Europäische Investitionsbank-Gruppe (EIB-Gruppe) hat ihre Finanzierungen in Finnland 2024 mit 2,3 Milliarden Euro mehr als verdoppelt. Die meisten Mittel flossen in eine schnellere grüne Wende und Unternehmensinnovationen. Die Zusagen der EIB-Gruppe im vergangenen Jahr entsprechen einem Anstieg von 132 Prozent gegenüber dem Finanzierungsvolumen von 992 Millionen Euro im Jahr 2023.

Die Europäische Investitionsbank (EIB) vergibt 100 Millionen Euro für den Bau des Krankenhauskomplexes Laakso in der finnischen Metropolregion Helsinki. Bei dem Kredit handelt es sich um die erste Tranche von insgesamt bis zu 480 Millionen Euro, die die EIB für das Projekt bereitstellen will.
